Our permitted development planning permission was submitted on 16th March 2016. The permitted development guidelines state that the decision must be made within eight weeks.
The day after submission notices were put up at the entrance for anybody to lodge any complaints or concerns. Other than that, all was very quiet. So quiet in fact we were very tempted to contact the planning officer to make sure that everything was still in progress and our submission hadn’t been forgotten about! We visited the North West Leicestershire Planning Portal to put our minds at ease and this confirmed that everything had been received and that the deadline of 10th May had been set.
The 10th May deadline came and went and a visit to the planning portal confirmed “PDN GRANTED“! There was a fairly lengthy document detailing email responses from the various consultees including
- Head of Environmental Protection
- Ashby de la Zouch Town Council
- County Highway Authority
- Natural England
- Severn Trent Water ltd
- LCC Flood Management
- Environment Agency
